A company developing biomethane green field project at Italyis seeking to engagean experienced Engineer resident in Sicily.The plan is todevelop of two major agricultural biomethane projects each having a capacity of **** smc/ hourLand has already been secured at the Gela PlainSicily.The company has already obtained authorization unica for a **** smc / hour bio methane project at Puglia.The Puglia project has already been placed on the GSE Graduatoria and entitled to a Capital grant under the PNRR funds.We are interested in candidates with a background in engineering related to bio methane.The person must havea minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including substantial experience dealing directly with theSicilian Regional Public Administration and relevant permitting authorities.The initial principal responsibility will be to prepare, coordinate and manage the complete permitting process requiredto obtain the Autorizzazione Unica (AU) for two separate agricultural-based biomethane plants,each with a production capacity of approximately 1,500 Sm3/hour of biomethane, to be developed in the Gela Plain,
Sicily.The candidate isexpected to coordinate the necessary technical and administrative documentation, interface with the relevant authoritiesand consultants, monitor the permitting process and actively shepherd each project through to the issuance of the required authorizations.
xysqume Candidate requirements:Resident in SicilyMinimum 10 years of relevant professional experienceStrong, proven experience dealing with the Sicilian Regional Administration and permitting authoritiesPrevious direct experience with biogas and/or biomethane plantsDemonstrable knowledge of environmental, technical and administrative permitting proceduresProfessional-level written and spoken EnglishAbility to independently coordinate authorities, technical consultants and project stakeholdersThis is an opportunity to become directly involved in the development of two significant renewable gas projects in Sicily, with the possibility of continued involvement as the projects progress through development and construction.
