Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a CSA Project Quantity Surveyor to support the successful commercial delivery of a large-scale mission-critical project.
Working alongside experienced commercial, operational and project teams, you'll play a key role in managing CSA packages from procurement through to final account.

The Role
As CSA Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of Civil, Structural and Architectural works throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and project delivery teams, you'll ensure robust cost control, accurate reporting, effective subcontractor management and strong contractual administration, helping to maximise project profitability while protecting commercial interests.
This role offers genuine ownership and the opportunity to contribute directly to the successful delivery of a major data centre project.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial delivery of CSA packages from procurement through to final account settlement
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, BOQs, cost plans and profit plans
Produce accurate monthly valuations, applications for payment and commercial reports
Manage subcontractor procurement, valuation, certification and payment processes
Administer subcontractor accounts, including variations, change orders, remeasurement and final accounts
Monitor project costs and forecast financial performance throughout the delivery lifecycle
Identify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Support contractual administration and ensure compliance with project obligations
Prepare and negotiate variation submissions and commercial claims where appropriate
Maintain accurate commercial records and supporting documentation
Work closely with project management, engineering and planning teams to ensure accurate progress reporting
Monitor labour, material and subcontract costs against project budgets
Participate in commercial meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors
Support cashflow management and maximise commercial returns




Ensure commercial processes and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time
Assist with project close-out activities and final account negotiations
Contribute to lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor managing CSA packages on large construction projects
Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control and contract administration
Experience managing subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and manage project risks
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High level of attention to detail and strong commercial reporting capability
Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, infrastructure or mission-critical projects would be highly advantageous
