/p pbSaipem Offshore Construction (SOC) /b is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.
/p pbPurpose of the position: /b /p pAs bAsset Equipment Production Engineer /b, you will respond to the PIPTEC Operation Manager and be part of the Offshore EC - Pipeline Technologies function.
/p h3How can you support us?
Here below your responsibilities: /h3 ul liTechnical leadership of some families of Pipe Lay Equipment (PLE) /li liDefinir the requirements of the PLE equipment in the technical supply specifications in line with the scope of work.
/li liPrepare technical bid evaluation for the selection of the PLE equipment.
/li liPLE Supplier interface both from technical and management point of view /li liManagement/allocation of some families of PLE /li liUnderstand the projects need for assigned PLE and choose the best way to provide the proper equipment on time.
/li liBe active part of PLE strategy upgrade/investment allocation.




/li liTechnical supervision of PLE integration with "correlated" machines /li liParticipate actively at the Final Acceptance test of the PLE.
/li /ul h3What are we looking for?
/h3 h3Education /h3 pIt's requested to have a master's degree in mechanical/ electrical/ Electronic/ Mechatronic/ Automation Engineering.
It's possible to evaluate no graduated candidates with long and proven experience in equipment development/integration/management /p h3Experience /h3 p6-8 years as an Asset Equipment Engineer or similar not necessarily in Oil Gas Industry /p h3Languages /h3 pIt's mandatory very good knowledge (minimum B2 level) in read, written and spoken English /p h3Technical/IT Skills /h3 ul liInterdisciplinary knowledge (mechanical/electrical/electronic) typical of Equipment Development/Integration /li liGood knowledge of Automation principles and device (PLC, Profinet, CAN Open, Ethercat) /li liGood attitude to personal relationships aimed at having proactive and effective interaction with PLE suppliers and building a very strong team /li liGood knowledge of Autocad /li liGood capability to read electrical drawings /li liGood knowledge of MS Office tools /li liProactivity and open mind approach understanding the specific project constraints that can impact on managed PLE /li liVery good capabilities of problem solving and troubleshooting related to managed PLE working in different environment.

/h3 pYou will have the opportunity to travel abroad on our vessels or yard and technology center at Ploiesti (Romania) based on the project needs for short-midterm missions.
