WE ARE HIRING – VARIOUS POSITIONS IN MALTA Blok Foods Limited – group of 4 restaurants in Malta Mondo – Mrie?el Mamachi – Portomaso Festacci – Qormi The Greenhouse – Swieqi We are growing and looking for experienced: - Waiter / Waitress A waiter/waitress welcome guests warmly, present menus, and explain daily specials and recommendations. Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure they are entered correctly into the POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly, following service standards and presentation guidelines. Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs (refills, additional items, clearing plates). Handle guest questions and concerns in a polite and professional manner, escalating issues when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of assigned sections, including tables, stations, and service areas. Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure correct timing and order accuracy. Process bills and payments accurately (cash/card), and follow closing procedures. Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards, including food handling requirements. Support opening/closing duties (mise en place, polishing cutlery/glassware,



restocking, side work). Requirements - Experience is a must in the role you are applying for - Non-EU citizens: valid Skills Pass + Food Handling - EU citizens: valid Food Handling (or ready to obtain it quickly) - Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. - Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tables efficiently. - Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus). - Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. - Team player with attention to detail and reliability. - Basic knowledge of food and beverages, upselling skills are an advantage.
