Acal BFi is a highly successful, fast-growing multinational Value Added Distribution group specialized in high-tech components and electronics full solutions.Their Photonics & Imaging Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is a market leader, catering to demanding, high-reliability (High-Rel) sectors such as Defense, Space, Medical and Transportation.For the Branch, we are searching for a strategic, technical, and dynamic:SALES MANAGER - IMAGING & PHOTONICSROMEThe role:The Sales Manager – Imaging & Photonics is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share for Acal BFI’s imaging and photonics portfolio within Italy.This role requires technical skills that enable you to work closely with the engineering team to develop new solutions tailored to specific customer needs, effectively bringing together technical expertise in sales, business development, and customer management within a value-added distribution model.The successful candidate will lead the commercial strategy to grow the design funnel creation,
managing and motivating a high-performing technical sales team, with direct report to the Country Manager.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute a sales strategy for imaging and photonics solutions aligned with company objectivesIdentify, target, and win new customers in key sectors (defense, industrial, medical, scientific, etc.)Grow revenue within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling value-added solutionsManage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closingAccount ManagementBuild long-term partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, and key accountsAct as a trusted advisor, understanding customer applications and technical requirementsMaintain regular engagement with strategic customers and stakeholdersSupplier & Product ManagementCollaborate with the Group Business Development Director to support the supplier strategy execution and to monitor and identify
