The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify’s platform, and the ability to translate fully specified designs into functional and performant e-commerce sites.
Role and Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and implement high-quality Shopify themes from initial concept to final launch, using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build advanced Shopify features using Storefront API, Admin API, and custom apps.
- Collaborate with our design team to ensure that the website's design is technically feasible and to identify the best approach for its implementation.
- Develop backend integrations (ERP, CRM, PIM, payments, logistics, marketing tools).
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile compatibility.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues related to Shopify theme development.
- Customize existing themes.
Required Skills & Experience

- Shopify
-
- 4+ years of experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus.
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, Shopify CLI, theme architecture, Hydrogen / Storefront API.
- Experience building custom Shopify apps.
- Frontend
-
- HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/Tailwind.
- JavaScript (ES6+), React.
- Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse).
- Backend
-
- Experience with Node.js, PHP, Ruby, or similar backend stacks.
- REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience integrating third-party services (payments, ERP, CRM, marketing tools).
- Dev & Tooling

- Git, CI/CD workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
- Docker (nice to have).
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel, Netlify).
