Offer Description The Research Assignment involves research activities on the topic “Assessment of Underwater Noise Pollution and Study of the Communication and Distribution of Biophonic Species (Fish and Marine Mammals) for the Protection of the Marine Ecosystem.” The assignment includes the application of advanced methodologies for the integration, processing, and analysis of acoustic, biological, and environmental data collected in the Mediterranean Sea.



The research will focus on the study of acoustic signals produced by marine animals and the characterization of anthropogenic sounds affecting marine organism welfare. The assignment also includes participation in the implementation of underwater noise distribution models aimed at developing mitigation measures. xkiyazw

- Master’s degree in LM-6 Biology, LM-60 Natural Sciences, or LM-75 Environmental and Territorial Sciences and Technologies (or equivalent qualifications), obtained no more than six years before the application deadline, together with a curriculum suitable for supporting the research activities covered by the appointment:
- Proficiency in the English language;
- Proficiency in the Italian language for applicants who are not Italian citizens.
