About the Role
This is for a leading international trading and supply chain Chinese company specializing in building materials, industrial products, and related equipment. With strong partnerships across global markets, the company provides a wide range of products, including construction materials, steel products, machinery, and new materials, serving customers in more than 140 countries and regions.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the Italian construction materials industry, existing customer networks, and experience working with distributors, contractors, construction companies, or related industries.
Location: Work remotely in Italy
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets in the Italian market.
- Identify, approach, and develop new customers, including building material distributors, construction companies, contractors, and related businesses.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide professional product solutions based on customer needs and market requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry developments.
- Conduct market research and provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, product, and project teams, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Support product training and continuously improve professional knowledge of building materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, International Trade, Engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years of sales/business development experience in the Italian construction materials industry.
- Strong understanding of one or more building material categories,
- Sales experience in related industries such as industrial products, machinery, construction, agriculture, furniture, or manufacturing is also highly welcome.
- An existing network with distributors, contractors, construction companies, or related customers is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Fluent English and Italian communication skills;
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
