ABOUT GNCRGNCR is an international group active in the development, investment, construction and operation of renewable energy projects.

As part of the expansion of our activities in Italy and Europe, we are looking for an Experienced Renewable Energy Engineer, particularly with experience in utility-scale Solar PV projects.

POSITIONThe selected engineer will contribute to one or more stages of the renewable energy project lifecycle:

Development → Permitting → Grid Connection → Engineering → EPC → Construction → Commissioning → Operation

Key Responsibilities

- Technical assessment and due diligence of renewable energy projects.
- Review of Solar PV layouts, electrical designs and engineering documentation.
- Support grid connection and MV/HV activities.
- Technical coordination with engineering companies, EPC contractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Review technical specifications, offers and contractor deliverables.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, schedule and technical compliance.
- Support testing, commissioning and plant handover.
- Identify technical risks and propose practical solutions.
- Support operating plants and O&M; activities where required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Electrical, Energy, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Preferably 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in Solar PV, Renewable Energy, EPC, Construction, Grid Connection,



O&M; and/or BESS.
- Utility-scale renewable energy project experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of MV/HV electrical systems is an advantage.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English; Italian is an advantage.
- Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
- Availability to travel to project sites.

Experience with PVsyst, AutoCAD, GIS, SCADA, MS Project/Primavera or similar tools will be considered an advantage. INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATESGNCR welcomes applications from qualified professionals of all nationalities and backgrounds.

We are particularly interested in internationally experienced renewable-energy professionals currently based in Italy.

Candidates must have the legal right to work in Italy or otherwise meet the applicable requirements for employment in Italy.

Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
