We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Florence Coordinator to become our on-the-ground representative in Florence. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and ensuring every guest has an outstanding experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Fulfilment Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day delivery of LivTours experiences in Florence. Acting as the primary local point of contact, you'll support guests, guides, suppliers, and the wider Operations team to ensure every tour runs seamlessly.

You'll split your time between coordinating tours in the city, supporting guides and guests, liaising with local partners, and assisting with operational planning behind the scenes. No two days are the same, making this the perfect role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working with people.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the daily delivery of LivTours experiences in Florence.
- Welcome guests at tour meeting points and ensure tours begin smoothly and on time.
- Support guides before, during, and after tours, providing operational assistance whenever required.
- Act as LivTours' primary on-the-ground representative in Florence.
- Respond quickly to operational issues, delays, emergencies, and last-minute changes.




- Liaise with local suppliers, museums, attractions, transport providers, restaurants, and ticket offices to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Review upcoming bookings and ensure all operational requirements are in place.
- Prepare daily operational checks and pre-tour communications.
- Manage operational materials and support ticket collection and distribution when required.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure LivTours' high service standards are consistently delivered.
- Assist support when operational needs arise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain accurate operational records and communicate updates to the wider Operations team.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Experience in tourism, hospitality, travel operations, or event coordination.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Calm, proactive, and confident under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.




- Comfortable learning and using digital systems and operational software.
- Fluent languages english and italian both written and spoken.
- Professional presentation and willingness to wear a company uniform.
- Must live in Florence and have the legal right to work in Italy.

Desirable

- Experience working with guided tours or destination management.
- Good knowledge of Florence's attractions, museums, and tourism industry.

Working Hours & Contract This is a flexible, per-greeting role, ideal for someone looking for varied, tempo parziale work. Schedules are planned collaboratively and may vary depending on seasonal demand and operational requirements.

Compensation

- Paid on a per-greeting basis, typically €20–€25 per greeting.
- Each greeting usually lasts 30–45 minutes.

Typical Schedule

- Regular afternoon greetings, generally around 4:00 pm at the Accademia Gallery, with opportunities to take on additional greetings as they become available.
- Some full-day shifts involving multiple greetings throughout the day (approximately 8:00 am – 4:00 pm), providing additional earning opportunities and flexibility.
- Availability across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays is welcomed. We work collaboratively to create schedules that align with both operational needs and your availability.
