Role objective The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships and coordinating requests relating to environmental testing services. The role will ensure effective interaction between customers, the laboratory, and the relevant internal departments, while guaranteeing service quality, compliance with agreed timelines, and an effective flow of information.
Main responsibilities
- Manage customer requests and provide information about environmental testing services.
- Understand customer requirements and direct them to the appropriate internal departments.
- Coordinate activities related to customer requests and assignments.
- Monitor timelines, priorities, and the progress of activities.
- Coordinate communication between customers, the laboratory, and the other departments involved.
- Provide customers with timely updates on the status of activities.
- Manage any issues, specific requests, or critical situations, contributing to their resolution.
- Identify potential delays and support the definition of appropriate solutions.
- Maintain ongoing and professional relationships with customers.
- Support the planning and organization of activities in line with agreed deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience in the environmental testing sector.
- Previous experience in Customer Service, customer management, operational coordination, or project management; alternatively, experience gained within a laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of laboratory processes and environmental testing services.
- Good planning, coordination, and activity-monitoring skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and different stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Good listening, organizational, and issue-management skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to balance customer needs with the laboratory’s operational requirements.
