Purpose of the position: As a System Engineering Manager , you will join the ENCAR Business Line , playing a key role in coordinating engineering design activities for critical systems and plant areas that are essential to project success.
You will work closely with the Project Technical Manager , ensuring effective engineering coordination and execution across complex systems such as underground networks, 3D CAD models, modularized units, and highly integrated packages.
Responsibilities




- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for assigned systems and plant areas throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive technical integration across engineering disciplines and external Saipem Engineering Centers, enabling effective and timely decision‑making.
- Lead 3D model activities, including planning, reviews, quality control and clash management.
- Ensure compliance with Client requirements, project specifications and contractual obligations.
- Manage engineering deliverables, interfaces, changes and constructability aspects within the assigned scope.
- Monitor engineering man‑hours and material quantities, progress, costs and risks, implementing recovery plans when necessary.
- Act as the primary technical interface with Clients, Vendors and project stakeholders for assigned systems and 3D model activities.
