BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The United Nations World Food Programme is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger. The Human Resources Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI) serve as the digital backbone of the Human Resources Division, delivering standardized business processes, enterprise HR technologies, data, analytics, and digital solutions that support the full employee lifecycle across WFP.

HRMOI is organized into five workstreams:

•Payroll, Time and Audit Operations

•HR Technology and Talent Solutions

•People Analytics and Reporting

•Organizational Governance

•HR Enablement and Systems Adoption

WFP is looking for a Change Management Lead who will be responsible for leading all aspects of a change management program. He or she will engage with senior leadership and executives to gain buy-in and will manage a change management team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The consultant will work under the supervision of the Project Director and in close relationship with the various stream leads. The Consultant will be responsible for the following key duties:

1.



Lead the Change Management stream in the implementation of change management and communication strategies, the maintenance of the workstream task planner, and in reporting to Project Management.
2. Plan and schedule workstream activities, including meetings, workshops and candidate interviews.
3. Conduct effective change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and stakeholder analysis in support of HCM phase 2.
4. Define, plan and execute change management plans to support communication and transition activities for HCM phase 2.
5. Develop, deliver and manage communication, stakeholder, training, engagement, adoption, and resistance management plans for HCM phase 2.
6. Prepare communication, training and support deliverables (articles for publication, videos, web pages etc.) for the HCM project.
7. Prepare analytical data (surveys, web site usage etc.) to monitor the effectiveness of change management activities.
8. Coordinate the implementation and the support of AppLearn Adopt in relationship with the training team and the functional streams.
9. Lead activities for the People Experience stream of the HCM Project, collaborating with the Workday PEX counterpart and WFP Team Leads. 10. Take part in outreach and training activities in WFP regional and field offices.
10. Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal WFP stakeholders and Workday Change Management.
11. Conduct effective change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and stakeholder analysis.
12. Ensure that information is communicated to impacted audiences throughout the duration of the program.
13. Build executive presentations and identify risks and issues relating to change management functions.
14. Facilitate senior-level meetings to surface and resolve sensitive issues and drive alignment.
15. Coach impacted managers and supervisors.
16. Manage communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
17. Responsible for the success of all change management deliverables.
18. Perform any other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education: Minimum university degree in Human Resources Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or other relevant field.

Experience:

Five or more years of postgraduate relevant professional experience in Human Resources field, preferably with a global organization.

Five or more years of postgraduate experience as Business Analyst, preferably in HR.

Proven experience in Change Management preferably related to HR.

Knowledge & Skills:

Advanced use and understanding of HCM.

Excellent knowledge of HR business processes, and best industry practices.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Able to work under broad direction, is self-initiated, responsible for meeting allocated objectives.

Able to work with people under pressure,



negotiate among multiple parties and establish and maintain effective working relationships with different stakeholders at all levels.

Able to work and deliver results within a highly complex organizational environment i.e. with diverse team, matrix structure, highly evolving operational context and staff working hardship locations.

Able to work in a multicultural environment.

Workday Product Management.

Languages:

Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and

Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
