We are looking for a Business Development Manager – New Vertical based in Milan, Italy .
As a BDM, you will play a key role in expanding Deliveroo's NV business by identifying, acquiring, and launching new retail partners across your territory. You will own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and relationship building to negotiation and contract signing — helping to grow Deliveroo's presence in your local market.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Account Management, Operations, Marketing,



and Onboarding team to ensure partners are successfully activated and positioned for long-term success. This is a highly entrepreneurial role, requiring strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for building new business opportunities.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to grow partner selection, increase market coverage, and contribute to the overall growth of Deliveroo's business.
Identify, prospect, and acquire new Grocery partners within your assigned territory, with a focus on independent retailers and local chains
Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and initial outreach to negotiation, contract signing, and launch
Build strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers, becoming a trusted partner and advisor
Collaborate with Onboarding, Operations, Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure smooth partner activation and successful launches
