About the Role The Site Equipment Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, reliability, and operational readiness of all construction machinery and equipment used on specific projects. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient operation of equipment supporting major civil, guideway, station, and systems construction activities. We are hiring in Milan (Italy), Castelfranco Veneto (Italy) or globally, at worldwide level . This is a job requiring international assignments. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all construction equipment on the project. Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and applicable safety regulations. Monitor equipment condition, utilization, and performance to maximize availability and minimize downtime. Supervise and coordinate mechanics, technicians, and equipment maintenance personnel across multiple work zones.



Plan and schedule maintenance activities in coordination with construction teams to avoid disruption to critical project activities. Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and project standards. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, inspections, and certifications. Manage spare parts, tools, consumables, and maintenance inventory for the project. Investigate equipment-related incidents, failures, and near misses; prepare reports and implement corrective actions. Liaise with equipment suppliers, service contractors, and vendors for specialized maintenance and technical support. Support equipment mobilization and demobilization activities, including readiness inspections and acceptance checks.
