Power Electronics Engineer
Job Overview
We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to be responsible for the development of the next generation power converters. The role includes a broad variety of activities, such as:
Analyzing the project specifications
Selecting the power conversion topology
Performing hardware simulations
Designing the control loop
Developing the schematic and BOM
Giving guidance to the colleagues in charge of the PCB layout design
Developing the control firmware
Debugging the prototypes
Identifying testing tools and creating procedures
Ensuring the compliance with EMC and safety regulations
Performing cost optimization
Reports To
The Power Electronics Engineer will join the R&D; team and report directly to the Head of Engineering and/or the Head of Research Activities.

Requirements
Electronic or Electrical Engineer (master’s degree or higher) with high final marks
Native level of Italian and good English (B1 or higher)
Nice to have
Recent graduation with significant thesis or internship in the field of power electronics or few years of significant experience in power electronics
AC/DC, DC/DC
GaN, Si devices
Experience with Altium and LTspice
Resonant converters, Wireless Power Transfer, RF power amplifiers
Power converters control loops (digital and analogic)
Programming Microcontrollers in C (STM8, STM32, dsPIC are preferred)
FPGA (VHDL is preferred)
