Sonder is a global hospitality brand that provides premium, design‑forward apartments and boutique hotels, supported by a tech‑enabled platform delivered through a single integrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the face of Sonder, creating a memorable first impression for guests, visitors, and partners from the front desk.
- Guide guests through the technology‑rich Sonder experience, encouraging use of the app and self‑service features.
- Communicate with guests in‑person and via digital communication systems to anticipate and address their needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.
- Own guest issues from identification to resolution and accommodate requests whenever possible.
- Collaborate with front desk staff and remote service teams to handle all guest interactions with the highest level of professionalism.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to complete front desk operations and act as a point of contact for escalated situations when a manager is unavailable.
- Assist with training and mentorship of Front Desk Hospitality Agents.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest‑facing and back‑of‑house spaces, supporting the overall welcoming environment.
- Support back‑of‑house activities such as housekeeping quality audits, inventory checks, and minor maintenance and technology issues.
- Support multiple properties in the local market, including breakfast buffet set‑up and service when applicable.
- Perform administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly and contribute to continuous improvement in the guest experience.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in hotels, restaurants, or customer‑facing hospitality or service roles.
- Experience using customer communication software such as Salesforce.
- Personable, service‑oriented, and positive; comfortable speaking with guests in‑person and online.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to guest needs.
