Experteer Overview As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at Avio Aero, you will lead supplier quality initiatives to ensure delivered components meet customer and regulatory standards. You'll drive preventive improvements in supplier processes, collaborate with sourcing and engineering, and support early containment and risk reduction. You will apply advanced quality tools to prevent defects, oversee supplier assessments, and champion Flight Deck‐driven transformations. This role offers impact across sourcing, manufacturing, and product teams in a lean, high‐performance environment.
Retribuzione / Benefits Lead resolution of complex customer quality issues related to supplier performance
Monitor customer scorecards and drive preventive actions to mitigate supplier‐induced disruptions
Establish strategic supplier partnerships to manage volume evolution and long‐term quality improvements
Provide advanced engineering support to supplier manufacturing processes for capability, tolerancing, and materials
Lead supplier eligibility assessments, readiness reviews,



and surveillance audits with early containment actions
Drive APQP initiatives including flow‐down of customer requirements, FMEA, and PPAP on‐site when required
Promote Flight Deck tools across teams to enable transformation
Develop breakthrough process improvements with stakeholders using Flight Deck (Hoshin Kanri)
Act as senior advisor in Hoshin Kanri and lean development with strategic suppliers
Oversee complex shop issues for supplied parts and ensure rapid containment of non‐conformities
Lead supplier quality KPIs via advanced standard work
Represent supplier quality in production planning meetings with insights on constraints
Lead cross‐functional problem‐solving events for internal scraps and supplier escapes with root‐cause analysis
Make critical decisions to stop production for uncontained off‐spec parts
Act as gatekeeper for scrap assets and supplier‐related parts management
Lead advanced risk assessment
