Overview Marionnaud, a beauty retailer with over 1,000 stores across 8 European countries, is hiring a Demand Planning Manager in Milan. The role focuses on driving demand planning, stock optimisation, and service level performance to support commercial and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously improve the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasts and strong decision‐making. Own inventory strategy and stock optimisation, balancing availability and cost efficiency. Manage and develop a team, ensuring focus, performance, and capability growth. Monitor and improve service levels in stores (OSA) and overall product availability. Drive actions on slow‐moving stock and improve inventory rotation. Translate demand plans into effective purchasing and replenishment strategies. Partner with trade and suppliers to ensure the right assortment and support commercial initiatives. Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure efficiency in warehouse and transport operations. Support key business moments: product launches, peak periods, and new store openings.



Deliver clear insights and reporting on key KPIs (forecast accuracy, stock coverage, inventory turnover, OSA). Required Qualifications 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain / Demand Planning with team management experience. Strong expertise in forecasting, inventory management and supply‐chain processes. Advanced analytical capability and data‐driven mindset. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Fluent in English. Desired Skills Combines strong analytical skills with business understanding. Comfortable leading people and influencing without authority. Strategic and operational thinking.
