Job Description Summary: Own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Customer Application / Solution Engineer to provide advanced technical and project expertise across the full project lifecycle, from pre-contract (ITO) through execution (OTR). The role acts as a key interface between commercial, engineering, and project execution teams, ensuring that customer expectations are translated into optimized, executable, and globally consistent technical solutions. A key aspect of the role is owning project control activities globally,



driving consistency in functional specifications and ensuring alignment across global project implementation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-ITO / ITO Phase (Technical & Commercial Support)
- Provide technical expertise during bid and proposal phases in collaboration with commercial teams
- Analyse customer needs and define optimized technical solutions (scope, design, cost, schedule, industrial scheme)
- Perform performance estimation, system sizing, efficiency calculations, and economic analysis
- Support bid strategies by evaluating technical feasibility, risks, and customer value
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and contractual requirements
- Translate customer expectations into clear technical and functional specifications
- OTR Phase (Execution & Customization)
- Support product customization and implementation for specific customer requirements
