Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing strategic client relationships across the EMEA region, with a specific focus on the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute territory strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Develop and maintain strategic account plans for key clients and target accounts.
- Build and expand executive-level relationships within client organizations.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
- Manage and accurately forecast pipeline and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to maximize client value and commercial outcomes.
- Represent Datasite at industry conferences, networking events, and client engagements.
- Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and account information within Salesforce.com.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.




- Mentor and support Sales Executives and other team members where appropriate.
- Ensure adherence to Datasite policies, procedures, and best practices.

Candidate Experience: Skills
- Fluency in English and Italian (both written and verbal) is essential.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent assessment, judgment, and decision-making skills, including the ability to use data and analytics to drive business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Advanced relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and engage effectively with executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
