Process Engineer (Cell Assembly)
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer specializing in Cell Assembly processes to join our client, an established Battery company in Italy. In this role, you will be responsible for lithium-ion cell assembly process optimization including stacking/winding, welding, electrolyte filling, sealing, and inspection processes.
Analyze process data and identify opportunities for process improvement
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards
Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production and quality targets
Define and maintain process specifications and control plans
Perform root cause analysis
Lead equipment commissioning and qualification
Work with Quality, Production and R&D; teams




Manage data analysis for process correlation
3+ years' experience in lithium-ion battery electrode manufacturing
~ SPC, DOE, FMEA* Bachelor's or master's degree in: Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Materials Science/Battery-related fields
~ Experience in lithium-ion battery mass production environment
~ PFMEA, 6 Sigma, SPC, 8D problem solving, Lean Manufacturing
~ Good communication skills in English
~ Experience with battery manufacturing projects (preferred)
~ Auto CAD, 3D modeling (preferred)
