Job Title: Cost Controller – YOOX
Location: Zola Predosa (Bologna) or Interporto (Bentivoglio, BO)
Department: Finance (Reporting)
Reporting to: Head of Cost Controlling
Working Model: Hybrid
Contract Type: Permanent
Potential Start Date: September 2026
Salary: Starting annual base salary of €35,000 gross.
Responsibilities
- Support the company’s cost control strategy in alignment with overall corporate objectives.
- Manage and/or support the annual budgeting process and multi-year financial planning related to operating and manufacturing costs.
- Oversee the monthly financial close process, including the preparation of SOX documentation.
- Lead monthly cost analysis activities and maintain strong relationships with key business partners.
- Proactively identify, assess, and recommend value-added opportunities to business partners.
- Provide in-depth analysis of variances versus Budget and Prior Year.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses for internal stakeholders and develop business cases across multiple business areas.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Maintain a robust internal control framework within the cost controlling function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in Controlling / Cost Controlling roles, preferably within structured or multinational environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Navision and Power BI considered a plus.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong numerical mindset with a solid analytical orientation.
- High level of accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with structured processes and internal control frameworks.
