HVAC Expert (Piombino) Posting Date: 21 Apr 2026 City: Piombino Location: Piombino, Italy Contract Type: Freelance Duration: 12 months (at least) Experience: minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas sector RINA is currently looking for an experienced HVAC SPECIALIST in ASSAGO. EDUCATION Technical High School Diploma University Degree in civil field will be a plus The HVAC Specialist is responsible for: Supervising Contractor's HVAC activities on site, verifying that construction works (erection, installation and testing) are carried out in compliance with project drawings, specifications and applicable international codes and standards. Ensuring that Contractors' duties are performed by competent and experienced personnel and in sufficient numbers to achieve objectives, promptly advising the Customer's Interface of any areas of concern. Ensuring that HVAC activities are performed in the highest HSE standards, cooperating closely with the Customer and Contractors HSE staff, managing monitoring, reporting and acting to constantly maintain the highest HSE standards,
and promoting internally and externally the HSE culture. Monitoring the Construction Schedules and Look‐ahead, highlighting delays, reasons of delays and possible remedial actions. Participating actively in construction meetings with Contractors. Reviewing and commenting on documentation produced by Contractors (e.g. technical reports, specifications, procedures, methods statement, drawings, TQ, CR etc...) ensuring implementation of established procedures and good engineering practice. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS and CERTIFICATIONS Good knowledge (spoken and written) of Italian and of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish) including technical dictionary will be a plus. Good knowledge in the use of PC including software and applications (e.g. Windows, Office). Good interpersonal and communication skills.
