As a Senior R&D; Designer, you will drive the development of advanced custom and special solutions for customer applications worldwide. You will work closely with Product Engineering (PE), key customers and the R&D; team to transform complex requirements into robust, innovative and industrialized designs that strengthen Piab’s position as a global leader in automation and vacuum technology.
Support Product Engineers (PEs) globally with custom requests by analyzing needs and proposing feasible technical solutions.
Provide direct technical support to key customers, especially for critical applications, acting as a senior technical counterpart in discussions and design reviews.
Lead the design and development of high-level, complex custom and special solutions, from concept to released design.
Use CAD (Inventor and/or SolidWorks) to create 3D models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing d
