Responsible for day‐to‐day mechanical engineering activities on a major construction project, including coordination, design review, and proactive issue resolution to ensure efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage design documents and drawings. Participate in project handover and technical meetings. Identify value engineering opportunities to optimise cost and quality. Produce and review coordinated drawings across multiple disciplines. Ensure design specifications and submittals are compliant and buildable. Support progress reporting and track project performance. Manage procurement activities including purchase orders and deliveries. Raise and respond to RFIs to resolve design queries. Monitor commercial aspects such as variations and take‐offs. Collaborate with internal teams, designers, and contractors to resolve issues. Maintain document control systems.



Prepare method statements and risk assessments. Coordinate subcontractors and oversee installation activities. Conduct inspections, snagging, and system walkdowns. Manage testing and commissioning documentation (test packs). Ensure compliance with information security and data protection requirements. Candidate Profile Strong understanding of design, procurement, and installation processes. Proactive problem‐solver with good communication skills. Able to work collaboratively across technical and commercial teams. Organised, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast‐paced project environment.
