We’re looking for a Backend Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend microservices powering the Lara API
- Own features end-to-end, from technical design through to production
- Work with our MySQL database and Redis layer
- Integrate with external services that handle translation and AI features
- Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving thoughtful feedback
- Write tests and take code quality seriously (without being dogmatic about it)
- Collaborate with teammates across engineering and product
- Write clear technical documentation that others can actually use

Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in backend software development
- Proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL)
- Solid understanding of REST API design and server-side web application architecture
- Comfortable working with Docker and containeri
