ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing activities across our assigned apparel categories. In this role, you will ensure that brands have access to the best products at competitive prices through effective supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
YOUR IMPACT
Work closely with Vendors to achieve the best cost and service for the brand
Review and negotiate purchasing contracts, ensuring they remain effective and up-to-date with market trends, pricing, customer service and regulatory change
Identify new suppliers and rationalize spending and generate savings
Analyze product data to forecast the volume of materials needed and manage budgets effectively to optimize costs
Regularly visit/meet vendors to oversee production processes and maintain clear communication
Develop sourcing strategy to reduce time to market
Work closely with the Purchasing team to ensure product availability
Work closely with Design, Merch and PD to achieve design intent at best cost.
Develop a high-performance team by recruiting and retaining best talents
WHAT YOU BRING
8+ years of experience in buying and sourcing in apparel and/or footwear industry
Product and production knowledge
Familiarity with product innovation and development
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Able to travel extensively
