The Dev Engineer is accountable for application development and maintenance of microservices based on Spring Boot Framework, J2 EE Middleware and SQL script development (Oracle, PL/SQL). Your code implementation will need to follow solution design and enterprise architect guidance, ensuring compliance with ING standards relating to quality, performance, security, and code maintainability. Key Responsibilities Application development according to ING Bank standards Work in an agile team in adherence with the solution design and enterprise architect team Design, write and perform Unit Tests Work with Release team for code versioning management Follow and support team defect and bug identification and resolution during test phase.



Follow and support Production issue resolution Check and give feedback on functional and technical analysis Manage communication and escalation processes when required Requirements Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 3+ years' experience in the same role in a 24/7 environment preferably within banking sector Proven skills in the Agile way of working Proven experience in application development with JAVA on/with J2 EE platform, Spring, Spring Boot Advanced experience in REST & SOAP application services development Junit testing, Test Driven Development and Spring Integration testing Good knowledge of issue and code versioning tools (Azure and Git) Knowledge with JBoss application server and Tomcat container Good knowledge of DBMS and SQL (Oracle, PL/SQL) Good knowledge of IT Technologies Good Italian and English level (written and spoken) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Soft skills: Passion for technology, Excellence in execution, Result oriented, Team player, Problem solving, Effective communication, Able to work under pressure Working conditions Tempo pieno Duration: Permanent Location: Milan (hybrid) Benefits Super flexible smart working Competitive base salaries and performance based bonuses Diverse cultures & Innovative mindsets Int
