Experteer Overview Senior Applied Scientist in the Alexa AI team shapes the research-to-production roadmap for cutting-edge conversational AI powered by large language models. You drive design and deployment of LLM tuning, alignment, and agentic architectures at scale across languages and devices. You translate advances into customer-facing features and lead end-to-end ML initiatives, from experiments to production. You collaborate across engineering, product, and science teams to deliver measurable customer impact and contribute to top-tier publications and IP. Retribuzione / Benefits Define and drive the science roadmap for conversational AI using large language models Design and evaluate LLM fine-tuning, alignment (RLHF, DPO, RLVR), and distillation for production Architect agentic systems enabling multi-step reasoning, tool use, planning,
and orchestration Develop evaluation frameworks capturing real-world conversational quality beyond standard benchmarks Translate research into customer-facing features in collaboration with cross-functional teams Own end-to-end delivery of complex research initiatives from problem formulation to deployment Address the team's hardest technical problems with a focus on customer value and generalizability Advance scientific reputation via publications and IP generation (patents) Responsabilità Several years of building ML models for business applications Ph D, or Master's degree Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning #J-18808-Ljbffr
