In this role you will develop and apply process simulation models to optimize and monitor refinery and chemical processes. You will lead small to mid-size projects within our Professional Services team, coordinating with clients and project managers to meet milestones and deliver tangible improvements. You'll implement Aspen Tech simulation tools, review plant data, and communicate results to clients while pursuing opportunities for additional services. This role supports our move toward autonomous, self-optimizing plants and operational excellence. Benefits Act as technical lead on small/medium projects to ensure customer satisfaction Coordinate solution delivery with the Project Manager and client to meet milestones, dates, and financial targets Review process diagrams, mass balances, plant data, and process manuals to inform modeling work Implement projects using Aspen Tech process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, HYSYS Petroleum Refining, Aspen Plus) Participate in client meetings, prepare project documentation and reports,



and assist with user training Present results to clients with confidence and clarity Maintain and grow client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services Qualifications Degree in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor) 5+ years modeling Refining, Petrochemical, Ethylene processes or equivalent Experience with Aspen Tech tools (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen HYSYS Petroleum Refining, Aspen Plus) or equivalent Ability to analyze plant data to identify trends and optimization opportunities English proficiency (written and spoken) Willingness to travel up to 25% Programming languages beneficial (Python, C#, C++, VB.
