Job Description
The Key Account Manager focused on the Retail Non-food industry performs revenue‐creating and commercial activities associated with the development of an assigned portfolio of key customers related to Datalogic Product Groups (HHS, FRS, MOB) within the assigned territory and industry.
Role Mission
The role is strongly focused on new business development and proactive prospecting activities to expand market share and acquire new customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the assigned product portfolio by scouting and penetrating new end users within the Retail Non‐Food industry, developing greenfield opportunities and expanding Datalogic's footprint in the territory.
Drive new business development activities through proactive prospecting (phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and other digital channels), identifying and engaging potential customers within the target market.
Define account development plans by Product Group, performing cost‐vantaggi analyses of existing and potential customers.
Present,



promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, communicating the benefits of Datalogic's products to drive sales (often visiting clients and prospects).
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and achieve assigned targets within schedule.
Build and maintain strong, long‐lasting client relationships, developing trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure present and future sales.
Act as the main point of contact for client concerns and needs, assisting with challenging requests and escalating issues as needed.
Report market opportunity and customer requirements and submit suggestions for targeted sales initiatives, product development and service improvement to management.
Identify, classify, and manage leads/opportunities/allies, assigning the right priority to sales activities.
Maintain accurate client records and punctual CRM status updates, tracking any contract updat
