Senior Engine Performance Simulation Engineer
GammaTech Engineering (GTE) is looking for a Senior Engine Performance Simulation Engineer with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us.
You would join our 1D Reactive Flow Simulation team, a group with nearly 20 years of experience in developing solutions for engine gas-exchange and combustion modelling and simulation. In this role, you would contribute to consulting projects for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers in the transportation industry.
Build, calibrate and correlate complex engine models, and simulate innovative ICE technologies using GT-SUITE, on a variety of applications: from SI to Diesel and alternative fuels; Perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: combustion model calibration and validation; turbo-matching analyses; Develop and adapt innovative CAE methodologies to meet customer requirements, devising alternative design solutions for complex problems
Author high quality technical reports, simulation workflows,

procedures and training material
Interact with colleagues on multi-disciplinary projects to achieve comprehensive solutions
Manage projects and ensure timely delivery within the provided budget; choose the most effective and efficient technical approach to meet project requirements; manage and supervise the resources assigned to the project
Collaborate closely with customers, fostering positive and cooperative relationships
Participate in drafting technical and economic proposals
MSc. in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or similar
~ 4+ years of working experience with GT-SUITE (or other similar multi-physics system simulation tools)
~ Basic Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
~ Proven Python experience is a plus
~ Proficient in both Italian and English, with strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
