European Tech Recruit are working closely with a market leading 3D scanning company, based in Bressanone, who are looking for a talented 3D Computer Vision Engineer to join their team.In this role you will join a company that leverage state-of-the-art Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms to scan high quality, relightable 3D models of objects and products at scale.You will work on multi-camera calibration, feature-based reconstruction, and geometric optimization. Responsibilities as 3D Computer Vision Engineer :Develop and optimize geometric reconstruction modules: multi-camera calibration, feature extraction and matching, structure-from-motion.Build robust point cloud and mesh processing workflows for cleaning, filtering, and topology repair.Work with ML engineers, rendering specialists, and system developers to bridge classical and neural approaches.Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable 3D processing.Requirements:Strong foundation in 3D vision and geometric computing,



gained through a PhD or Master's degree combined with 3+ years of industry experience.Strong background in multi-view geometry: camera models, epipolar geometry, bundle adjustment.Experience with SfM/SLAM pipelines or structured light systems.Proficiency in C++ and Python; Familiarity with point cloud and mesh processing (Open3D, PCL, CGAL, or similar).Experience with learned feature descriptors or neural depth estimation.Understanding of appearance capture, light calibration, or inverse rendering fundamentals.Experience with camera/projector calibration or photogrammetry pipelines.Familiarity with CUDA or GPU-accelerated geometry processing.Contributions to open-source 3D vision projects.If this role is of any interest please apply directly on LinkedIn or send a copy of your CV to (email hidden) applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
