Founded in 2018 as a spin-off of Politecnico di Torino, Ermes develops proprietary technologies to protect enterprises from evolving threats related to web browsing and the use of AI.Our platform combines AI-powered intelligence and on-device protection to provide organizations with real-time visibility and control, protecting users, credentials, sessions and data directly within the browser.Join Ermes and help us shape the future of AI and Browser Security .The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our Product team and contribute to the development and evolution of our web security platform.You will be primarily focused on building intuitive, reliable and high-performance user-facing experiences, with particular emphasis on two key areas of our product:Browser extensions, which are a core component of our technology and user experience; Web dashboards and interfaces, used to provide customers with visibility, configuration and control over our security solutions.You will work closely with Product Management, Research and Engineering teams, translating product requirements into scalable and high-quality front-end solutions. You will also have the opportunity to interact with customers and contribute directly to the evolution of our product.We are looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive, curious and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-growing environment.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent; 5+ years of professional experience in Front-End development ; Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript ; Solid experience with modern front-end frameworks, particularly React and/or Angular ; Proven experience developing complex web applications, dashboards or user-facing interfaces ; Strong knowledge of HTML,



CSS and modern web development practices ; Good understanding of REST APIs and integration between front-end applications and back-end services; Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, testing and code quality ; Experience withAgile methodologies and collaborative software development practices; Strong attention to security and privacy, with an understanding of secure coding principles; Disciplined approach to development, documentation and code structure; Ability to workindependently, take ownership and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; Willingness to use AI coding agents daily to accelerate development, debugging and code review; Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English .Nice to HaveExperience with or strong familiarity with browser extensions and their development lifecycle; Experience withWeb Extensions APIs and browser-specific extension architectures; Experience withReact Native or other cross-platform development frameworks; Experience developing and maintaining desktop/client applications ; Experience withframeworks such as Electron, C#/.NET, WPF, WinForms, Qt or similar technologies; Experience withWindows and macOS application development ; Familiarity with application performance analysis and optimization; Experience working on cybersecurity, SaaS or enterprise products ; Experience withAI-powered development tools and workflows; Master's degreeor PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.What We OfferA young and dynamic work environmentSmart working – up to 5 days per weekAnnual welfare packageDiversity-friendly workplaceSalary range: €40,000–€50,000, depending on experience and seniorityHealth insurance coverage€7 daily meal vouchersLocationTurin, ItalyThis recruitment process is conducted in compliance with the principles of equal opportunity and is based exclusively on skills, professionalism, and merit.
