- The H & S function facilitates the reduction in the number & severity of accidents and in the continuous improvement of the working environment & of employees‘ occupational health & welbeing. **Descrizione**
- The H&S; Manager implements the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems **Principali responsabilità**
- Ensure broad compliance with legislation - advise management on HS&E; Law, liaise with statutory bodies (HSE & EA), keep up to date with new legislation.
- Health of Workforce - advise in implementation of COSHH, Manual Handling etc, advise on the promotion of a healthy workforce. Selection of PPE and control measures. Effective skin surveillance and skin health.
- Accident Reduction - advise and help implement pro-active and re-active measures with the aim of reducing the severity and likelihood of accidents
- Safety Advice - provide Health & Safety advice and information throughout the company, maintain Chartered Member status with Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
- Point of contact for BSI certification visits.




- Author of relevant Management System policy and procedures
- Assist the company to minimise it’s impact on the Environment via waste reduction, pollution prevention and reduction in energy usage
- Dangerous Goods - in depth knowledge of transport requirements. Liaison with appointed DGSA consultant
- H&S; awareness - ensure appropriate training to employees
- Consultation - with employees on HS&E; matters through the effective management of the HS&E; committee
- HS&E; Auditing including being a mentor to others
- Advising and arrangement of waste disposal including recycling schemes & hazardous waste **Competenze ed esperienza**
