This position will provide support to Producers, Brokers and Technical Support colleagues in servicing our clients. If you are currently working within the insurance/ reinsurance industry or have a keen interest in it, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and successful team. **How you'll make an impact**
- Assess market security information on carriers, checking compliance and financial positions
- Build / Update marketing sheets for Broking Teamtracking reinsurers’ decisions
- Produce statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a client’s reinsurance programme
- Manage and resolve queries from clients and reinsurers
- Management of special acceptances request
- Liaise with Compliance / Sanctions Team on sanctions checks where touch points exist
- Effectively connect with various stakeholders, both internal and external
- Work with Sales Team to ensure effective delivery of client service to clients




- Generate and issue evidence of cover, support creation of slips, endorsements and wordings
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timeframes about signing process of contractual documentation
- Support analysis of wordings and benchmarks of clauses
- Support creation of documents in PowerPoint and Word
- Checking files to ensure all information is present and accurate
- Ensure contract records are accurately maintained within transactional broking system
- Support the team in organising and planning meetings with client and reinsurers
- Regular contact with colleagues on technical support/contracts
- Ensure compliance with Gallagher policies and GEM (Gallagher Excellence Model) throughout the placement process
- Support the team in producing data for internal benchmarking, analysis and budgetary processes
- Maintain files in an orderly manner electronically, ensuring these are within GEM guidelines **About you**
- Previous experience within insurance / reinsurance is desirable but not essential, we will consider those with an interest in the industry.
- Degree in Law or Economics is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (written and verbal).
- Proficient in using MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good attention to detail.
- Collaborative and enjoys working as part of a team.
