Responsibilities
Mission: The Clearing & Settlement Services employee is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day operations related to securities settlement. The role ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of asset trade settlements, delivering high-quality service to SGSS clients while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
- Execute post-trade processing of securities transactions across local and international markets, ensuring timely and accurate settlement.
- Monitor and follow up on both internal and external settlement instructions for clients.
- Investigate and resolve settlement pending items, breaks, and discrepancies with counterparties, as well as irregularities in coordination with clients’ back and middle offices.
Profile required
Studies & experience: Bachelor's degree in Economics or related fields. Background in Securities Services,
with a good understanding of industry standards and operational frameworks. At least 1 year of proven experience in Securities Services, with sound knowledge of industry regulations and processes.
Language skills: Excellent command of written and spoken Italian (C2 level). Upper-intermediate English (B2 level).
Technical, operational & Soft skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office & 365 applications. Knowledge of Securities Operations processes and workflows. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Good level of technological literacy and familiarity with operational systems. Team Spirit, Collective Mindset, Risk and fraud awareness, Empowerment and Accountability, Result orientation.
Salary
Salary range: 35.5k € - 37.5k € / Year.
