Position Overview
Space Industries S.p.A., a leading aerospace company specializing in the assembly, integration, and testing of small satellites , is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Technical Facility Manager to oversee and manage all technical infrastructure, utilities, and equipment supporting production, integration, and test operations.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical and electronic expertise with solid experience in facility operations , ensuring that all systems, machinery, and utilities are fully functional, compliant, and reliable to support aerospace-grade activities (cleanrooms, AIT areas, test facilities).
This is a hands-on role requiring autonomy, technical competence,
and a proactive approach to maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of the facility’s performance.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all technical facilities, utilities, and equipment used in satellite production and testing (electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, vacuum systems, cleanrooms, test chambers, etc.).
- Ensure operational availability , safety , and compliance of all infrastructure with aerospace and industrial standards.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities on machinery and technical systems, coordinating internal and external resources.
- Support the setup and commissioning of new equipment , test benches, and technical installations.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of utilities (power supply, compressed air, cooling systems, etc.).
- Collaborate with AIT and Test teams to ensure facility readiness for integration and test campaigns.
