To strengthen our **Finance Department**in Italy, we are looking for a **Senior Accountant**, reporting directly to the CFO and based in our office near Milan (Settala). **Key Responsibilities**: - Manage the **general ledger**.
- Update **accounts payable**and perform reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with **VAT regulations**and related requirements.
- Assist in preparing **balance sheets and financial statements**in line with legal and company guidelines.
- Prepare and submit **weekly/monthly reports**.
- Support in **monthly and yearly closings**.
- Handle **e-invoicing archiving activities**.
- Protect the organization’s value by maintaining **confidentiality**of information.
- Manage and support **auditor relationships**. **Requirements**: - **2-4 years of experience**in accounting/finance, ideally within international or multinational companies.
- Good knowledge of **accounting principles and financial reporting standards**(e.g., US GAAP).
- Strong **analytical skills**and attention to detail.
- Excellent command of **Excel**.
