What You'll DoAs a Lead IT Architect, you will work closely with clients to understand their issues, define IT strategies, architecture solutions, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance. You will be given end-to-end responsibility for larger, highly technical and more complex "modules" within a project, and begin to develop specialized knowledge to help you solve clients' problems.



You will start to take on team lead responsibilities and demonstrate intellectual leadership.
Main responsibilities will include:
Building community
- Advisinginternalcolleagueson core technical concepts and frameworks
- Advisingfellowarchitectsonareasrelevantto an areayouhavedepthin
- Developing a network in the BCG technical community and leveraging it for our clients

Developing&Designing;
- AnalysingcomplexITapplicationlandscapes
- Analysingthe status quo andoptimizationof ITarchitectures
- Identifyingnon-trivialtechnologydecisionsfacinga client
- Storytellingaboutarchitecturalbuildingblocksandtheirimportance
- Roadmappingand business casedevelopment

Controlling&Managing;
- Reviewingvendorproposalsand/or in-flighttechnical work
- IT project management andqualityassurance
- Optimizingapplicationdevelopmentprocesses
