Responsibilities
Primary goals for this role include:
- Translate requirements into effective automation software solutions
- Contribute to the definition of system architecture and software design
- Prepare functional specifications and acceptance test criteria for project-related systems and equipment
- Participate in design risk assessments and ensure proper documentation (user and maintenance manuals)
- Stay up to date with technologies in automation and robotics
Application Requirements
What you need to succeedTo be successful in the role we are looking for:
- Strong experience in automation engineering
- Approximately 5 years of experience in the automation industry
- Solid knowledge of PLC programming, preferably with Structured Text
- Strong understanding of automation systems architecture, including real-time systems
- Experience with commissioning and testing of automated control systems
- Knowledge of motion control systems (servo motors, stepper motors)
- Experience in designing complex systems involving multiple machines
- Proficiency in Beckhoff / TwinCAT or CODESYS environments
- Good knowledge of electromechanical components and systems
- Ability to create technical documentation, including functional specifications and test procedures
- Good knowledge of English language
