/p h3Position Overview /h3 pAt Philogen, we are building a small, high-impact engineering team focused on transforming core business processes into secure, production-grade software and AI systems.
These systems support clinical operations, RD, finance, and corporate functions in a highly regulated environment.
/p pWe are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to take substantial ownership of the platform, its infrastructure, and its production deployments.
This is a full-stack role in the literal sense: you will work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, frontend applications, identity, authorization, data systems, and isolated AI-agent execution environments.
/p pBackend and infrastructure expertise are baseline requirements.
Strong frontend expertise is an additional advantage.
/p h3What You Will Do /h3 p— Build and operate Python services, APIs, CLIs, and full-stack workflows using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
/p ul liProvision and run GCP and Kubernetes infrastructure through Pulumi, including databases, object storage, networking, secrets, deployments, and recovery procedures.
/li liBuild secure execution environments for AI agents, covering sandbox lifecycle, tool access, workload identity, network isolation, resource limits, and persistent sessions.
/li liIntegrate model providers and agent SDKs, including streaming, tool calls, cancellation, and long-running execution.
/li liImplement authentication, RBAC, least-privilege access, auditability, and compliance requirements as enforceable technical controls.
/li liOwn production reliability across application and infrastructure layers through testing, observability, performance analysis, incident diagnosis, and safe deployments.




/li liDesign and ship agent-driven user experiences spanning chat, files, interactive tools, and data-intensive workflows.
/li /ul h3What We Are Looking For /h3 ul li5+ years of full-time software engineering experience in production environments.
/li liStrong Python and TypeScript skills and the ability to work effectively across frontend and backend code.
/li liStrong SQL and database fundamentals, including schema evolution, transactions, concurrency, access control, and operational recovery.
/li liProduction experience with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud platform, preferably GCP or AWS.
/li liExperience with infrastructure-as-code, preferably Pulumi or Terraform.
/li liStrong understanding of containers, Linux, networking, secrets, service identities, and deployment automation.
/li liExperience designing authentication, authorization, RBAC, and audit-sensitive workflows.
/li liExperience leading substantial deployments or owning production services after release.
/li liStrong judgment regarding least privilege, data residency, encryption, sensitive-data handling, and secure software design.
/li liHigh daily engagement with modern AI development tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
/li liAbility to work with non-technical stakeholders and translate operational needs into reliable software.
/li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liDeep frontend expertise with TypeScript, React, Next.js, streaming interfaces, and complex interactive applications.
/li liExperience building developer tools, command-line applications, agent harnesses, or AI-assisted coding environments.
/li liExperience with healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, finance, or similarly regulated systems.
/li liKnowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, audit-trail requirements,



or regulated software validation.
/li liExperience delivering infrastructure or software platforms for pharmaceutical or healthcare customers.
/li liFamiliarity with analytical data systems, knowledge graphs, ontologies, or data-integration platforms.
/li liExperience designing and testing controls for software subject to formal security, privacy, or regulatory review.
/li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
/li liEquivalent substantial professional experience may be considered.
/li liA strong academic background with international exposure.
/li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liFull-time employment under the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry CCNL.
/li liGross annual salary ranging from €60,000 to €100,000 RAL.
Positioning within the salary range will be determined based on objective and neutral criteria, taking into account the candidate's skills, experience, and the level of responsibility associated with the role, as assessed throughout the selection process.
