In this role you will lead the functional design of an MMIS for rail maintenance, bridging maintenance engineering teams and IT implementation. You will define the functional blueprint to support high fleet availability and regulatory compliance across fixed and mobile assets. You’ll simplify requirements, validate processes, and shape data structures for scalable asset management. This position offers meaningful impact by aligning rail operations with IT-enabled transformation.

- Lead functional design of MMIS and act as bridge between maintenance and IT implementation
- Define and validate business processes to ensure reliability and compliance
- architect complex asset hierarchies for fixed and mobile assets
- mediate between engineering requirements and IT constraints to maintain scalability




- reduce requirement-gathering complexity and drive transformation in rail depots
- Minimum 10 years in Rail Maintenance Operations or Rolling Stock Engineering
- Proven experience leading at least two large-scale EAM/MMIS implementations xysqume in transportation (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, CarlSoft, Hexagon, ServiceMax)
- Fluency in Italian; English for international standards
- Ability to define complex asset hierarchies and data structures for both fixed and linear/mobile assets
- Consultative assertiveness and focus on process over product
