/p h3Duties and responsibilities /h3 pThe Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the Dentist in the delivery of a high standard of basic, emergency, and preventative dental care.
/p ul liPrepare the patient and assist the Dentist in all clinical procedures and examinations in a timely accurate and safe manner /li liFollow best practices to maintain patient confidentiality ensuring that all medical records are properly kept and maintained /li liWill decontaminate and sterilize dental equipment as required in line with the relevant SOP and maintain strict infection control standards /li liPrepares the consultation rooms, ensuring the rooms are clean, stocked and always ready to accept a patient /li liEnsures best practice in line with clinical guidelines and SOPs /li lifrm maintain best practice standards of hygiene and cross-infection control, according to the latest clinical guidelines and policy /li liMonitors stock level for material and consumables and liaise with the responsible person on ordering /li /ul pThis list is non-exhaustive?? and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.
/p h3Qualifications /h3 pQualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of 2 Years post qualification experience /p h3Additional Information /h3 pRotations are typically 8 weeks on duty and 8 weeks off duty.
Flights, food and accommodation are provided whilst on duty at the project site.
