/p h3Job Summary /h3 pbArchitecture Technology Engineer – Medical Diagnostics /b will be based in bMilan, Italy /b and will be responsible for leading system-level architecture definition and technical engagements for complex medical and diagnostic programs, while bringing innovative technologies and cross-domain expertise into client solutions.
/p pbWhat a Typical Day Looks Like: /b /p ul liLead technical workshops and customer-facing discussions with international clients, translating needs into system concepts /li liDefine and guide system architectures across feasibility, proof-of-concept, and development phases /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electronics, controls, embedded software, sensors) /li liBuild rapid prototypes and technical demos to support validation and client engagement /li liIntegrate emerging technologies such as IVD systems, robotics, mechatronics, and embedded AI/ML /li liTranslate customer, regulatory, and business requirements into robust system and subsystem specifications /li liSupport development in key areas such as motor control, precision motion, thermal management, and sensor integration /li liContribute to the technology roadmap and innovation direction /li /ul pbThe Experience We're Looking to Add to the Team:
/b /p ul libMid level /b experience in system engineering or complex product development in regulated industries /li liStrong background in IVD, surgical systems, or advanced lab equipment /li liSolid expertise in mechatronics, motor control, and sensor systems /li liBroad cross-functional technical exposure across at least two domains (mechanical, electrical, embedded, controls, sensor algorithms) /li liFamiliarity with embedded AI / edge technologies is a plus /li liStrong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders (CTO, RD, VP level) /li liHands-on, self-driven mindset with the ability to independently develop solutions and prototypes /li liAble to drive progress in situations with incomplete information and undefined system architectures /li liMaster's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Automation, Physics, or similar /li liFull professional proficiency in English /li /ul pbWhat You'll Receive for the Great Work You Provide:

br/The role is classified at Quadro under the Metalmeccanico CCNL, which establishes a guaranteed minimum salary level of 37,000 euro.
/p pA higher pay level is possible, proportional with candidate's experience, within the limits of internal peer pay, to prevent pay inequities.
