/ppThis role is suited for an experienced accounting professional with a bstrong operational profile /b, able to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting data, while contributing to a bcontinuously evolving finance environment /b.
The Senior Accountant works in and with the Finance team, supporting core accounting activities with a particular focus on bgeneral ledger, payroll and TE accounting, tax operational activities, and fixed assets /b, and providing stability and reliability to the overall close process.
/ppThe position reports directly to the bHead of Finance Italy /b.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3General Ledger Closing Support /h3ulliPerform and manage bgeneral ledger accounting activities /b, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
/liliActively support bmonth?end, quarter?end, and year?end closing activities /b, ensuring deadlines are met and accounting data is accurate and complete.
/liliPrepare supporting schedules and documentation for closing and reporting purposes.
/li /ulh3Payroll, TE Tax Operational Accounting /h3ulliPerform postings and reconciliation activities related to bpayroll costs /b, social charges, and related balance sheet accounts, incl.
coordination with external providers.
/liliManage bTE accounting and reconciliations /b,



ensuring correct posting and consistency between systems and the general ledger.
/liliSupport btax?related operational accounting activities /b, including postings, reconciliations, and monitoring of tax balances, incl.
coordination with external providers, with flexibility to support a broader in?house scope in the future.
/li /ulh3Fixed Assets AccountingulliManage bfixed assets accounting /b, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations.
/liliMaintain accurate and up?to?date bfixed asset records /b, ensuring consistency with accounting entries and supporting documentation.
/li /ulh3Interfaces Audit Support /h3ulliAct as backup and accounting interface for bAP and AR activities /b, ensuring correct integration into the general ledger.
/liliPerform breconciliations between subledgers and the GL /b, including monitoring clearing and suspense accounts.
/liliSupport binternal and external audits /b, preparing documentation and providing explanations for assigned accounting areas.
/li /ulh3Adaptability Problem Solving /h3ulliOperate effectively in a changing environment, contributing to bcontinuous improvement /b of accounting practices and processes.
/liliIdentify issues, discrepancies, or inefficiencies and address them with a bpragmatic and solution?oriented approach /b.
/liliCollaborate proactively within the Finance team to ensure consistency,



continuity, and reliability of accounting operations.
/li /ulh3Qualifications and Experience /h3ullibBachelor's degree in Economics /b.
/lilib6-10 years of professional experience /b in operational accounting roles, audit, or similar environments.
/liliStrong hands?on experience in bgeneral ledger accounting and financial close activities /b.
/liliSolid operational experience with bpayroll accounting, TE accounting, tax postings and reconciliations /b, and fixed assets.
/liliPractical experience working with bERP systems /b (e.g. SAGE, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong bExcel skills /b.
/liliHigh attention to detail combined with a structured and reliable execution mindset.
/liliAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a bteam?based and international environment /b.
/lilibFluent English (minimum B2 level) /b, written and spoken.
