Role Description
This is a full?time, on?site Tendering Specialist role based in the Greater Rome Metropolitan Area.
The Tendering Specialist will manage the full tender lifecycle for public and private sector opportunities, from opportunity identification and bid/no?bid analysis to submission and follow?up.
Day?to?day activities include reviewing tender documents, clarifying technical and administrative requirements, coordinating inputs from internal experts, and developing compliant and competitive proposals.
The role involves preparing cost and technical offers, monitoring procurement portals, maintaining tender documentation, and ensuring all deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.
The Tendering Specialist will collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams, support negotiations when required, and contribute to continuous improvement of tendering processes and tools.
Qualifications
Strong tender management skills, including end?to?end handling of tender processes and familiarity with public procurement frameworks.
Solid analytical skills to interpret tender requirements, evaluate risks, and develop accurate cost and technical proposals.




Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders, manage clarifications, and present information clearly in written and spoken form.
Proven experience in proposal writing, including structuring tender documents, drafting narratives, and ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance.
Knowledge of procurement procedures, regulations, and best practices, ideally in engineering, construction, or technical consulting environments.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with public tender platforms and document management tools; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Fluency in Italian and good working knowledge of English; additional languages are an advantage.
Detail?oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast?paced environment.
Experience in the Greater Rome Metropolitan Area or similar markets, and familiarity with Italian public procurement norms, is highly beneficial.
