/p /brpThe Human Resources Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI) serve as the digital backbone of the Human Resources Division, delivering standardized business processes, enterprise HR technologies, data, analytics, and digital solutions that support the full employee lifecycle across WFP.

a strategic multi-year transformation initiative to modernize and harmonize payroll operations across the organization.
The programme aims to replace fragmented payroll processes with a standardized global operating model, strengthen governance and compliance, improve employee experience, and enable greater operational efficiency through modern digital solutions.
The first implementation phase is planned through December ****, followed by a second implementation phase supporting the Passport programme throughout ****.
/p /brpThe implementation of One Payroll requires significant subject matter expertise from the Payroll, Time and Audit Operations team.
To ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical payroll services while enabling dedicated support to the transformation programme, HRMOI is temporarily strengthening its operational capacity through this assignment.
/p /brpUnder the overall supervision of the Head of Payroll, Time and Audit Systems, the incumbent will provide operational payroll support while contributing to the successful implementation of the One Payroll Programme.
The assignment will help maintain business continuity, support system readiness, facilitate business process harmonization, and enable the successful delivery of payroll transformation activities across WFP.
/p /brh3ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: /h3 /brpUnder guidance of the Payroll Integration Lead, this position takes part in the business support of the stream team as follows: /p /brh3System Enhancement, Testing and Capacity Building /h3 /brol /brliDraft and validate business requirements with focus on HR payroll systems integration requirements by ensuring cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement.
/li /brliPerform testing activities for system enhancements and releases, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards before deployment.
/li /brliAs necessary, perform testing and impact analysis on payroll integrations, reports and interfaces.
/li /brliDevelop and deliver user documentation, guidelines, training materials and knowledge-sharing activities related to time benefits management processes and systems.
/li /br /ol /brh3HR Systems and Payroll Operational Support /h3 /brol /brliMonitor integration errors and contribute to data alignment for operational excellence by liaising with users and providing corrective guidance.
/li /brliAct as subject matter expert on WFP HR rules, regulations and procedures governing WINGS Payroll related processes and their applications in WFP HR systems (Workday, SAP).
/li /brliMonitor/Follow up incoming queries/issues related to SAP Payroll in WFP HR systems (Workday, SAP) through the dedicated ticketing systems.
/li /brliProvide guidance to HR users with the correct use of HR systems (Workday, SAP) for SAP Payroll related processes.
/li /brliRespond to queries/issues received by ensuring resolutionin compliance with relevant processes and procedures and full auditability.

Provide support to other SAS streams (i.e. Time Benefits, Local Payroll) as necessary.
/li /br /ol /brh3Business Support to Payroll Transformation and Systems Integration /h3 /brol /brliContribute to the implementation of One Payroll and other payroll transformation initiatives (i.e. Salary scales upload and maintenance, HR Master Data cleansing activities, Integration expansion and monitoring, etc.) by supporting business analysis, requirements gathering and process design activities across core HR and payroll processes, with focus on systems integration /li /brliSupport the identification, documentation and validation of business requirements, ensuring alignment between HR policies, operational needs, payroll requirements and system capabilities.
/li /brliPrepare and execute integration testing, validate business scenarios, document testing outcomes and ensure solutions meet functional and operational requirements prior to deployment.
/li /brliSupport cutover and go-live activities, including business readiness assessments, issue resolution, payroll validation exercises and post-deployment stabilization activities, ensuring continuity of payroll operations and minimizing business disruption.
/li /brliAssist in payroll parallel runs, reconciliation activities and validation of payroll outputs during implementation phases to ensure accuracy and compliance.
/li /brliContribute to change management and adoption activities by supporting stakeholder engagement, preparing user communications, developing guidance materials and delivering knowledge-transfer and training initiatives.
/li /br /ol /brh3QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: /h3 /brh3Education: /h3 /brpBachelor's degree in human resources, Computer engineering or related field /p /brh3Experience: /h3 /brpOne to two years of progressively responsible work experience in general administrative work, including at least one year in human resources in an international context.
/p /brpWork experience in HR systems administration and support would be an advantage.
/p /brh3Knowledge Skills: /h3 /brul /brliKnowledge of UN business processes, practices and procedures.
/li /brliKnowledge and ability to interpret HR rules, regulations and data.
/li /brliPrevious experience in HR Operations and working with SAP HR modules and Workday is an asset.
/li /brliExperience in customer service support.
/li /brliGood analytical and computer skills (advanced level of Excel is an asset); /li /brliGood interpersonal and communication skills; /li /brliGood understanding of HR principles and their application in order to respond to and resolve a range of HR queries; /li /brliAbility to build relationships with a variety of individuals across functions and outside WFP in order to effectively contribute to the functioning of the unit.
