In this role, you will work at the heart of Generali's Finance function, contributing to the definition and implementation of Group accounting policies, supporting Group IFRS reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a truly international environment.

/p h3Key responsibilities of the role will include: /h3 ul liContribute to the definition, maintenance and evolution of Group Accounting Policies and related accounting guidelines in compliance with IFRS requirements /li liMonitor and assess the impact of new accounting standards, amendments, and regulatory developments on the Group's financial reporting framework /li liProvide technical accounting support and guidance to Group Business Units on complex accounting transactions and IFRS application issues /li liContribute to the preparation of accounting memoranda, technical position papers, accounting policy documents and implementation guidelines /li liSupport the interpretation and continuous improvement of IFRS 17 reporting processes and related accounting policies /li liSupport the preparation and review of the Group's semi-annual and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS /li liAnalyze and review financial reporting information submitted by Group Business Units, ensuring consistency, completeness and compliance with Group standards /li liContribute to the enhancement of reporting processes, controls, data quality and automation initiatives /li liParticipate in cross-functional and international projects involving Group Functions and local Business Units /li liCollaborate with external auditors and regulatory stakeholders, supporting audit reviews and accounting discussions /li liDeliver training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities on accounting topics within the Group /li liTravel periodically across Generali Group Business Units to support projects, governance activities and stakeholder engagement /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent /li liAdditional professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) will be considered a plus /li liAt least 5-7 years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit,
or technical accounting /li liPrevious experience within a Big Four audit/advisory firm is considered a strong plus /li liExperience within multinational groups, financial institutions, insurance companies or listed entities is highly valued /li liFluent English (written and spoken) /li liItalian is considered a plus /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liDeep knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting principles /li liStrong understanding of consolidated financial statements preparation and reporting processes /li liKnowledge of IFRS 17 is considered a significant plus /li liKnowledge of insurance accounting and reporting frameworks reresents an advantage /li liExperience in accounting policy analysis and interpretation of complex accounting transactions is highly valued /li liExcellent analytical capabilities and ability to translate technical requirements into practical business solutions /li liAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint /li liExperience with reporting and consolidation systems (Tagetik, SAP or similar platforms) is appreciated /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong analytical and critical thinking skills /li liAbility to simplify complex accounting topics and communicate effectively with different stakeholders /li liExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management capabilities /li liHigh level of ownership and accountability /li liProblem-solving mindset and pragmatic approach /li liCuriosity and willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on evolving accounting standards /li liAbility to work effectively in multicultural and international environments /li liProactive attitude and passion for driving improvement and innovation /li liFlexibility and willingness to travel internationally when required /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pWe offer employment at the bVI level /b with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
